Synbio Reverse Pitch Competition Kick-Off

Welcome to the 2019 Synbio Reverse Pitch Competition Kick-Off!

From Waste to Wealth – Microbes to the Rescue!
Can microbes turn waste into useful products, can we purify water with new biopolymers? Or feed old rugs to microbes? Yes, yes and yes.

In the Synbio Reverse Pitch Competition Kick-Off on March 20th, companies (Ikea, St1, Kemira and Neste) will present student teams with real life challenges to be solved with synthetic biology! The teams will then move on to work on their ideas and pitch their competing solutions in the finals on May 27th 2019.

Graduate students and post graduate students register HERE to join the competition at latest on March 15th. Read more about the challenges here.
